The competition was awesome, thank you so much to everyone involved.  I have put some pics on Facebook, check out the group El Tornament if you havent already.  I will be adding as many as possible to this page too.  

Well done to Andraz Zan who won the guys heats and Nina Tanhofer for the girls.  The standards were high and judging wasn't easy.  The wind was good too, not letting us down bringing a good force 4-6 all day! 

On the 7th we had the racing, Ziga Hrcek took 1st overall, the guys on slalom kit looking the part loosing out letting the freestyle kit take the lead due to penalties for false starts!!  We also had a small kite race, won by Dima from Russia.

It was an awesome day, the BBQ was great followed by some good rum punch and partying!  Hopefully we'll see more events like this in the future.

Awesome, we have heard from some of the Dahab guys and they are planning to head over for the action.  We don't have many contacts for Moonbeach, Ras Sudr and Hurghada centres but if anyone knows people who want to get involved please let them know!

The forecast is looking good!  Action on the 7th is dependent on who can stay for both days and will be more racing and freestyle expression sessions, varying with the the crowd.  It will also be an opportunity to go for a sail and check out the conditions here in El Tur so make the most of it.

Not long now!

LESS THAN ONE WEEK! Forecast is already looking promising, but we are trying not too get too excited and hoping so much it won't change.  Now all we need is numbers.  We already have competitors in the hotel, it's people coming from afar we need to hear from so please drop us an email and start booking taxis.  From Dahab to here is not very expensive, especially if you have more than one of you to split the cost.  The BBQ will be about 50LE, I'l confirm that price later, and so as with a lot of things in Egypt it won't be an expensive day, well worth it for the amount of action we should have and the party afterwards.  We look forward to hearing from you! Let us know by Tuesday 4th whether you will compete and we must know by the 5th about people wishing to join the BBQ so we can let the hotel know numbers.  The BBQ will cost approximatly 50LE, well worth it.  If anyone has enquiries about accommodation please be in touch asap.

We got a lot of good response yesterday in Dahab, although a very small amount of people seemed unsure where El Tur is....so we have attached a map of the Sinai to show you all.  Its the place where you go to get your Visa, takes about 2hours in a taxi from Dahab, 1hr and quarter from Sharm and roughly 2 hours from Moon Beach.

El Tur is putting on a Windsurfing Event.  This will involve the following 

• Freestyle
• Freewave (conditions dependant)
• Master Blaster Races
• BBQ
• Beach Party.

Prizes will be up for grabs for the best sailors.
